Key Responsibilities

The Special Education Teacher will teach and provide specialized math instruction to small groups of middle school students in Grades 6-8 using our multisensory math approach. In addition to developing curriculum and delivering instruction, the teacher will be responsible for assessing student learning, managing classroom routines and behavior, building relationships and communicating regularly with families, and collaborating with other faculty.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have expertise in working with students with language-based learning disabilities as well as deep mathematical content knowledge. Applicants must have math teaching experience and should have a Master’s degree in Special Education.
