Key Responsibilities

The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide integrated support to students with language-based learning disabilities through push-in and pull-out models. This includes collaboration with teachers and the support of students within the classroom during content areas as well as the remediation of language skills within small groups. Speech-Language Pathologists at Shefa also teach daily reading and writing groups.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience using multisensory Orton-Gillingham instruction and expertise in working with students with language-based learning disabilities in clinical and/or school settings. Prior experience in a classroom setting is a strongly preferred. Certification is required.
