The Shefa School is seeking a Communications and Marketing Manager to work full-time, twelve-months, in person. The Communications and Marketing Manager will create marketing campaigns to increase the enrollment of new families and retention and engagement of current families as well as assist with development efforts. The Communications and Marketing Manager will play a leading role in telling the story of the Shefa School to prospective families, current families, alums, donors, interested professionals and faculty/staff through a variety of media channels to support the mission of the school. A successful candidate will be passionate about the mission of the School and understand the opportunities that are available to learn and develop within a growing school and professional team.

This is a part-time position that could be structured as a part-time administrative role, or as a hybrid role combining Director of Outplacement responsibilities with a part-time teaching role, creating a full-time position.

The Director of Outplacement is responsible for all aspects of the school’s placement process, guiding our students and families through the application and selection procedures. The Director of Outplacement reports to the Head of School and consults with the Heads of Lower and Middle School.

The Shefa Teacher Residency is a groundbreaking and highly selective program that recruits and trains individuals to become exceptional teachers by providing an intensive and supportive school-based teacher training program. Over the residency year, teacher residents train in classrooms with mentor teachers and take on increasing responsibility for teaching while gaining support through on-site professional development, workshops, and coaching. Residents receive robust training in a variety of programs including Responsive Classroom, PAF Reading Program, and Multisensory Math. At the end of the year, teacher residents are not only eligible candidates for The Shefa Teacher Fellowship Year - a direct pathway to a lead teaching position - but also have the opportunity to apply for a student support role at Shefa.
